How to add SVG in WordPress

In its default configuration, WordPress doesn’t allow uploading SVG files. However, if you need to upload SVG files, we recommend using the Safe SVG plugin for this.

Once you installed and activated the plugin, you’ll have a new menu option in your WordPress Dashboard called SVG Support. There, you will receive instructions on how to style SVG files for your website.

After setting everything up, you’ll be able to upload SVG files directly to your Media Library.
