How to enable refunds

If you want to allow users to request refunds for services they purchased, you can enable the refunds feature. To do that, please follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that the Marketplace extension and the WooCommerce plugin are installed and activated;
  2. Navigate to the HivePress > Settings > Orders section and choose one of the refund options: Partial and Full or Full Only.

Now, all the users who purchased some services will have a Refund button in the Account > Received Orders section.

Once a user requests a refund, the website admin has to change the order status to Refunded, as shown in this tutorial and make a payment via a preferred way (e.g., via PayPal). 

Please note that some payment methods may also support automatic refunds, so just marking the order as Refunded may be enough.
