How to enable discounts
There are two ways to offer discounts on your website: quantity-based discounts and coupons.
Quantity-Based Discounts
Quantity-based discounts let vendors offer a lower price when buyers purchase multiple items.
To enable this feature, turn on Allow sellers to set quantity-based discounts in HivePress > Settings > Listings > Discounts. Once enabled, a Discounts field will appear in the listing submission form, where vendors can specify a discount amount for a given purchase quantity. Multiple discount tiers can be added this way (e.g., 10% for 2 items, 15% for 5 items, and so on).
This option only appears when the parent feature, Allow buyers to select quantity, is enabled.
Coupons
Coupons let you create discount codes that buyers can apply at checkout. You can manage coupons from the dedicated Coupons section in the profile dropdown.
Make sure that the Coupons feature is enabled under HivePress > Settings > Vendors.
When creating a coupon, you can set the discount type (fixed amount or percentage), expiration date, usage limit, and if it applies to specific listings or all listings on your website.
